ISG Print & Embroidery was created in 1980 as the screen print and decoration operation for Idaho Sporting Goods, Idaho’s most recognized dealer of sporting goods, uniforms, and athletic equipment.
Founded in 1954, Idaho Sporting Goods was known for it’s broad selection, great prices, and exemplary, old-fashioned customer service. ISG remained an integral part of downtown Boise and the sports community across the state. Grandpa Hugh brought on his sons as part of his mission to serve the region. Led by the legend himself, Uncles Pat, Mike, Tim and Nick spent many great years serving the coaches and teams around the valley. Following Grandpa’s passing and nearing retirement, the Brady uncles sold the Idaho Sporting Goods name and team sales operation in 2016 to BSN Sports, Inc. They also sold the trophy shop and iconic building on 10th and State, but retained the apparel decoration division. In the spring of 2020, the uncles made a call to family before selling the last remaining piece of the Idaho Sporting Goods legacy. Our family of 6 had a hard time letting go of the family history and local connection. I only met Grandpa Hugh a few times when Tim and I were dating in high school, but it was enough to purchase the business with a sense of duty to our family and community.
As third generation owners, we continue to honor the legacy of our founding principles with our new name-ISG Print + Embroidery. We will continue to welcome you in with warm smiles, wide product offerings, and fair prices. We’re proud of our history and committed to our future.
